What It Takes to Earn a Reference Partnership With Jora

Jora Consulting Group

We get asked fairly often whether a company can just sign up to have Jora as a reference. The honest answer is no — and we think that's exactly what makes it worth having.

It Starts With Real Work

Reference Partnership isn't a product on our service menu. It's a possible outcome of a real consulting or evaluation engagement — one substantial enough, over enough time, that we've actually seen how a business performs.

The Bar Is Genuinely High

We score every engagement against the same criteria — communication, timeliness, quality, professionalism, initiative — and most engagements don't result in a reference offer. That's intentional. If we said yes to everyone, the reference would be worthless to anyone relying on it.

What the Fee Actually Covers

For businesses we do extend Reference Partnership to, we charge an ongoing availability fee. That fee pays for our time — staying reachable for calls and emails from prospective buyers or partners — not for what we say. Our answers reflect our real experience, whether or not that fee is current.

It Can Be Revoked

If a partner's performance or conduct changes after the fact, their status changes too. A reference that can never go down isn't a real reference.

Jora Consulting Group extends earned Reference Partnerships only after substantial, direct engagement. Learn more at www.joraconsulting.com.
