Interlock Power AdvisoryFor developers, operators and site-selection teams
§ 00

You found the land. Now find the megawatts.

Interlock gets large loads connected to the grid: data centers, fabs and electrified plants. We tell you how much power a site can really get, how long it will take, and what it takes to get it sooner.

The problem

Power, not land or fiber, now decides where large projects go.

Utilities are receiving requests for more load than their transmission systems were planned to carry. Studies take longer, upgrade costs arrive late, and a site that looked ready on a map can turn out to be five years from service.

Most teams learn this after the land option is signed. Interlock’s job is to find it out first, and then change the answer where the physics and the tariffs allow.

“The utility’s first letter is an opening position. It is rarely the fastest path.”

How we work

Three stages, each with a decision at the end.

Stage 1 · 3 weeks

Screen

Substation headroom, queue position risk and upgrade exposure for up to five candidate sites.

Stage 2 · 3–6 months

Secure

Load request strategy, study scoping, and negotiation of facilities and service agreements.

Stage 3 · to energization

Deliver

Owner’s representation through construction, commissioning and ramp schedule.
