Ostara composes a single perfume for a single person, from a conversation about the rooms, seasons and people you remember. The formula is never sold to anyone else.
BeginYour first sitting lasts two hours. The perfumer asks about a kitchen, a coat, a coastline, a person. You smell raw materials blind and tell us what you love and what you can’t stand. Nothing is written in perfume language.
From over 400 materials, the perfumer builds three small accords that carry what you described: the bright opening, the heart that lasts the afternoon, and the base that stays on a scarf for a week.
We send three variations to live with at home. Wear them to work, to dinner, to bed. At the second sitting we pick one and adjust it. At the third, we sign off the formula together.
The finished perfume is delivered in a 100 ml refillable crystal flacon cut in Bohemia, with a gilt brass cap and your initials engraved under the shoulder. A travel atomizer comes with it.
Every formula is archived under your name and never used for anyone else. Refills are made to order from the same materials, and you can return each year to adjust it as you change.
This is a sketch, not a perfume. It gives the perfumer a starting place, and it will change once you smell the real materials.
