Dyslexia specialists · Ages 6 to adult

Your kid isn’t lazy. Their brain reads differently.

Stillwater tutors are trained in structured literacy, the approach research supports for dyslexia. Two sessions a week, one tutor, the same plan at home and at school.

Turn on the tools we teach.

Supports like these help many readers, but they aren’t a cure. Structured literacy teaching is what builds lasting skill.

Every student begins with an assessment so we teach what they actually need, not what their grade level says.

Parent questions

Do we need a diagnosis first?

No. Our assessment tells us what to teach. If you want a formal diagnosis, we’ll refer you to a licensed psychologist.

Is online tutoring as effective?

For most students over age seven, yes. We ship a kit of letter tiles and cards so sessions stay hands-on.

How long until we see progress?

Most families notice more confidence within a month. Measurable fluency gains usually show up by the second progress report.

Will you talk to my child’s school?

With your permission, yes. We share reports and suggest classroom accommodations.

Book the assessment. Start with facts, not guesses.

Fall assessments book about two weeks out.
